Volunteer Mobilisation & Training Lead

Recruit, orient, train, retain and deploy a capable nationwide volunteer network.

What you will be responsible for

  • Build and maintain the volunteer recruitment pipeline.
  • Design and coordinate volunteer onboarding.
  • Develop teams for community work, events, member engagement and other approved activities.
  • Prepare and deliver practical mobiliser training.
  • Develop a leadership-multiplication model.
  • Identify and develop volunteer leaders and trainers.
  • Track participation, deployment and retention.
  • Coordinate refresher training and continuing support.
  • Work with regional representatives to address shortages and capability gaps.

  • Previous political-party experience is not required.
  • Strong facilitation and training ability.
  • Ability to motivate people without coercion.
  • People-management and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
  • Training, teaching, youth work, community mobilisation or related experience is advantageous.
