Prosperity is something
we design together.

The Arise Africa Economic Forum brings enterprise, research, public leadership and communities into the same room—then turns shared ambition into practical programmes.

Build the systems behind shared prosperity.

AAEF is intended to expand Africa's capacity to produce, trade, innovate and solve common problems. It begins with credible Kenyan demonstrations and grows through willing regional partners—not through promises that outrun law, evidence or local consent.

01 · Integration

Regional prosperity and mobility

Develop practical routes toward AfCFTA trade, interoperable identification, easier lawful movement, stronger corridors and gradual administrative cooperation across the EAC, Great Lakes and wider Africa.

02 · Enterprise

Enterprise and investment readiness

Connect entrepreneurs, social enterprises and SMEs to incubators, accelerators, corporate partners, continental markets, jobs and responsible capital.

03 · Industry

Energy, technology and production

Advance reliable energy, value-added industry, data infrastructure, Vumbua's Afrocentric AI ambition and productive new-city partnerships grounded in viable demand.

04 · Knowledge

Leadership, research and technology

Develop the proposed Arise Africa Institute as a home for public leadership formation, applied research, diplomacy, innovation and technology capability.

05 · Resilience

Food and resource security

Convene producers, communities, investors and institutions around transparent systems that prepare during abundance, strengthen supply chains and reduce vulnerability before crises.

06 · Dialogue

Evidence-led economic forums

Create recurring spaces where communities, experts, business and public authorities test ideas, publish progress and revise programmes when evidence demands it.

How this arm must work.

Shared purpose does not remove accountability. Each arm needs a clear mandate, responsible owners, protected records and work that can withstand public scrutiny.

Public benefit

Enterprise and investment must produce measurable economic and social value, not privileged access for insiders.

Institutional separation

AAEF funds, staff, beneficiaries and data must not become an undisclosed route for candidate or campaign support.

Earned scale

Pilot locally, publish evidence, strengthen governance and expand only where communities and partners are ready.

Built honestly,
in public view.

This page distinguishes work already established from the governance, safeguards and institutional choices still being developed.

Established direction

What already anchors the arm

  • Regional strategy packs for the EAC, Great Lakes and Horn of Africa.
  • A programme direction covering integration, industry, enterprise, infrastructure, research and resilience.
  • A 90-day Kenya inception approach before conditional regional expansion.
Being formalised

What still requires a decision

  • AAEF's final legal structure, board, objects and tax treatment.
  • The separation between public-benefit programmes, commercial activity and electoral politics.
  • The governance of the proposed institute, Vumbua and future investment vehicles.

Bring knowledge, enterprise and patient capital to Africa's shared work.
